I had to post this because it seemed so strange. No not another story about meeting morrissey. That would be ludicrous. But at the local Giant Eagle Supermarket over the course of the last month the music that is piped in throughout the store was playing Morrissey/The Smiths.
This charming man first, and william it was really nothing most recently. I absolutely could not beleive my ears. I was walking around the grocery store singing and very much enjoying my grocery shopping experience!

I recall something similar. A supermarket i used to go to would play really good music late at night. The Smiths, Morrissey, Joy Division, Suede, Gene, Rialto etc. I think one of the night shift workers must have had good taste, because it wasn't every night, but some night it was all good. Sure beats muzak, anyway.

I've heard Muzak versions of "girlfriend in a coma" and the cure's "lovesong" Did they actually play gene and rialto songs? or was it the muzak versions? Just

How's that for shopping, did you buy more stuff? hehhee...I'd freak out if I heard some Moz songs in a supermarket...Over here that just does not happen.
